What's the weirdest vegetable that you've had?

One of the strangest vegetables I've tried is jicama. This brown, tuberous root looks rather unremarkable from the outside, but when you peel and slice it open, the flesh is crisp, juicy, and mildly sweet almost like a cross between an apple and a potato.
