Honestly, this is in two ways. If I have always bought from the same seller and I have never had any complaint like that, I will not return it. I can let it slide but if it has happened to me before by the same seller, I won’t let it slide.
I will make sure that I return the product. How about you?

I can just bring it back to the supermarket with the receipt. I think they will accept and change it.

I always check the expiry date before I buy. I always caught expired items and reported them to the supervisors for replacement.

I will throw the expired product if I bought it in a far store or mall. Next time it's good to check the expiry dates.

In such a case,I would return it immediately to either get a replacement or a refund, it's not my fault the product was expired.

To prevent from having this kind of situation, I tried my best to check the expiration dates before availing the products. It would be a hassle thing to handle it for me.

Expired products can't be consumed. I would just tell the seller to return the products and I would never patronize him or her.
