I have a provision business and I used a whopping sum of one million and five hundred thousand makes to start the business and that’s about $1000 here in Nigeria.

How about you? How much money can you use to start a wholesale provision business?

@Bisolami, it means you had to compromise on a lot of things to able to set up a groceries business with that amount. I believe shop rent ain't included in that amount.

The shop rent was not included and thanks for reminding me about that and also the kind of furnishing I’d do in the shop

To start a provision store requires lots of capital, especially now that things are on the high side. The amount you need would be determined by the size of the business.

I believe you can start provision business with any amount of money but at the same time if you start up the business with good amount it's far more profitable

There are people that started a small provision business with just about $400. It depends on the scale you are starting with.
