For some people, they end up getting scammed off their hard earned money by the people they get into relationship with. They open u their financial secrets to the partner and the partner capitalises on loopholes and take their money from them.

Have you been a victim of romance based financial fraud? How did it happen?

Romance induced financial fraud is a very common thing. Some people enter relationships with wealthy people just because they want to extort money from them.

A friend of mine had this experience. Her husband took her ATM card and because he knew her pin, emptied all the money in her account, including funds she was meant to use and process orders for her business.

I have heard situations where people train a love interest with the sole intention of marrying the person later in life. And the person they trained turned around and refused to marry them.

It is always sad and that is why I always wonder why some people show fake love. Why date someone you don’t love in the first place?

If you are not interested in a person, don't take any favours from such a person. Taking favours up to the person investing in your personal development for you to turn around later could be very disastrous.

It is really sad that people just go into the lives of other people with the aim of scamming them and they won’t even feel bad at all

The few times that I have seen this kind of scamming activity, most always result to murder, and all of that could have been avoided if greed didn't set in.

I have never been a victim of romance based fraud. But I have a friend whose boyfriend stole from her. She had shown him some money that she had in her bank account and the guy went ahead and withdrew it. It just shows how much you can't trust anyone fully, even your spouse!
