For some people, they are lucky to still have their grandparents alive. My grandmother is 70 plus and I enjoy her company so much. I have told her that she ain't going nowhere till I get married and have a child.

All my grandparents and even my parents have passed away long time ago. Of all the grandparents, I've only seen my mother's mother. All other grandparents passed before I was born.

I have lost both of my grandparents, from my mom's and dad's families. I was close to my mom's parents and lived in their house for many years, even during my college years when I stayed with them for 2 years.

It is also like my situation. I never met my grandparents on my mother's side. They died before I was born.

My grandfather died before the marriage of my father , I did not see him only. He died because of the cancer of liver and in those days there was no treatment of it in India.

People who have their grandparents alive are very much lucky, as for me, Iost my grandparents long time ago, both from my maternal home and paternal home.
