Have you ever bribed someone?

I live in Nigeria and it is quite difficult for someone to thrive or achieve what he wants to do if he or she doesn’t bribe and this happens in every government office.

I have done this before and I can’t count how many times. Can my fellow Nigerians testify to this?

I never dared to do this. First, I am a professional. Second, it will violate the code of ethics of my profession. Last, it is not the right thing to do.

This is a normal thing in our country also, but things have improved from last few years but still not free from corruption.

No, I have never bribed anyone. When I was a kid, corruption was common in my city. You have to bribe to get something done. Since the establishment of the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) in 1974, with the support of the Government and the community, Hong Kong has now become one of the cleanest places in the world.
