In my community we normally conduct contributions for the funeral arrangements in case one of us has left. What about you?

We also do the same thing. Sometimes they do this per district, where the person lived when he or she was still alive.

In our country, it is the family responsibility to bear the cost of funeral rites. If the person cannot pay for the rites, his relatives will arrange the expenses.

Usually, there is a donation box in every funeral chapel here in my country. Whoever visit the funeral, they can give any amount of money.

We don't do this in the community where I stay, they can only ask you if you have to contribute or not.

This is common in my country, especially the countryside. There are times that government officials give donations, too.

I have never done this before but it is usually done in my community and this is amongst the elderly people so I feel I have no business with it for now

We do not have such a practice here. The funeral expenses are paid by family members of the deceased. But friends and relatives do contribute money or send flower wreath
