Do you give advice to people?

I have been a mentor for some fresh graduates years ago. I occasionally share with them my experience in business and provide advice when requested.
I am a leader in my group, I advice people in a daily basis. However, I read books that would guide me to be able to advice others
During my time in the past, I had given advices to medical professionals in Tajikistan. Now, they are still using the soft skills that I taught them.
I can also give advices to people close to my heart. Although I still let them have their own final decisions. Although I am more concerned with the young ones.
That's nice, what group is that by the way? We all have to try our best to help people out there in any way that we can.
I also do the same thing. I cannot just suggest if they do not want to. It is my way to protect myself from gossips and the like.
I refrain from offering advice unless it is solicited. I prefer not to meddle with other people's affairs.
