It is a big word TRUST should be strong enough between partners to prevent jealousy in the relationship. It is the cause of separation if it is not addressed.

That is true. It is essential to actively build trust in a relationship. Reassurance is necessary at times, but if it becomes constant, it can be draining.

I think you should figure out what the cause of jealousy is. It could be some unsolved childhood traumas, not spending enough time together or some real issue like a partner cheating even emotionally. A relationship counselor can be so good in guiding the partners out of the jealousy.
