Having different values and beliefs in a relationship

I think it is quite difficult to maintain a relationship if the partners have different values and beliefs. If they want to keep the relationship, they have to accept the differences.
I agree with you. I had experienced this when courting a woman before. I stopped because she insisted me to convert to her religion.
It really comes down to you and your partner. If you are both committed to making things work, you need to be able to embrace each other's beliefs and values. In my experience, my last relationship did not succeed because we had conflicting perspectives. I tend to be more conservative and traditional, whereas he was the complete opposite.
It's impossible for both parties to have the same ideas or way of thinking, this is because they are both from different backgrounds and upbringing. For any relationship to work, both parties have to try and understand each other and be willing to sacrifice certain things and bring themselves down.
When the beliefs are two extremes, it would create a relationship that is full of chaos.
