I was listening to a song this afternoon and the artiste mentioned that the family of the bride wanted him to pay them $1,000,000 as the bride price. I’m sure it is an imagination.

Do you think such can happen in real life and if you happen to have the money, will you pay such?

I think it is a culture thing. In China, the husband to be needs to give a certain amount of money. It should be given to parents of the bride before getting married.

Are you seriously kidding me? That money can do your finances a great deal of help and I use it to pay bride price. I won't let my man do that.

I don't think it's legal. Bride is not a thing for which one has to pay money.
