Has anyone tampered with your computer anytime? Other than using a password, how do you ensure that no one tampers with your computer, especially when you are away from the computer?

I think it's the same like a phone. I usually lock my device. I made a terrible mistake of not locking one of my device which was later stolen.

I don't know if there are special ways to go about this, but I simply set a password for my system. That way even when they touch it, they have no access to it.

It is not common for anyone else to use my computer because I live alone and I am the primary user. To boost the security of my laptop, it is configured to enter sleep mode after a minute or two of inactivity. In addition, I use a strong password and fingerprint protection to prevent unauthorized access.

We are on the same page. No one touches my desktop or laptop at home. That is why they are also secured.
