There is a Star Trek episode where the leaders of countries had to fight the battles/wars. Do you think that leaders should be forced to partake in those things, especially since they're the ones wanting war in the first place?

I think that l would not agree with that. The Politicians are the ones that should promote the social cohesion and peace among the people they lead.

It's an interesting idea. Maybe politicians would be less keen on jumping into wars if they actually had to participate. I would say no though. How often would we see leadership pass away? I think that would just create turmoil.
