Importance of Supply Chain in Business Growth

The supply chain functions as a bridge between the manufacturer and the customers. The supply chain connects the manufacturer with a supplier/wholesaler, and then the supplier/wholesaler with the retailer, and then finally customers get their products through a retailer. As a business owner, what strategies can you implement in order to optimize your supply chain and reduce costs, and in the meantime also maintain the quality?

The supply chain is extremely important when it comes to running a business successfully. One thing about thing i normally do to cut down the expenses is to find a place closer to me where i can get the things i need to complete production. So i do not have to spend that much but still retain the quality.

I know that an inefficient supply chain can completely ruin a business and make all other efforts useless.

The supply chain for my business is quite efficient because we can easily buy our inputs from the open market.
