Do you think before the action?

Action has consequences. That's why I always think before I take any action. However, there are certain situations which you don't have to think before action. That is when you see people getting hurt and needs help.
I am lucky that I have outgrown the era when I used to act instinctively because I was angry. Nowadays, I am calmer and calculated when taking actions.
I usually try to consider my actions before acting, but there are times when I act on impulse without much thought. It is something I hope to work on changing.
It is suicidal to take an action without having proper thoughts to how the action is going to impact other people and factors.
