USDT (Tether) is the stablecoin that most people use besides for trading as well as for transactions, especially for sending funds between countries because it will be cheaper and faster than us using bank transfers, PayPal, and Visa cards and Western Union. Since USDT was launched (2015) USDT is designed to be a replacement for USD, so users need not fear or worry about the violability of the cryptocurrency. But you can't use stablecoins or USDT as investment instruments, because you won't get capital gains. you better use it as a transaction and trading pairs do not need to convert to USD.
The challenge with taking USDT as payment is always how to transfer it to another wallet. The fees are always quite high.
The biggest problem with USDT transactions is the fact that USDT transactions cost a really high fees. Not all the people can use it and this is why it is so unpopular.
