One common problem with most young entrepreneurs today is that they are becoming too greedy for clients. Trying to get more clients or customers is not a bad thing, but it becomes an issue when you keep on bringing more to yourself when you have not be able to finish the task given to you by your previous clients. Over here in my country, tailors are well known for this. Hence they are regarded as masters of disappointment. They have tons of cloths that needs sewing but they still collect new ones and assure you of getting yours in the next few days.

The customers are also wise, They will know your actions as a greedy business owner. They will know that by forcing them to buy in bulk or wholesale all the time could save them. They all understand the motives of the owner.

Yes, getting more clients or customers is not a bad thing, Yes, it becomes an issue when one amass more customers to self when one is unable to finish the task given previously clients.

Greedy business owner may face scrutiny. They might crossing the line causing negative disputes from the customers. The customers are always right and must be valued, if not they will never go back to your business center.

Most definitely, if someone disappoints me, I don't think I would want to come back to that person again. There was a case some time back of a business owner who was arrested simply because he disappointed the wrong client.

Salaried employees are assured of monthly income, business owners are not assured of regular orders. So they often grab all the orders which they get, and then find they cannot deliver as promised.

Really, that was so disgusting a client sued the business owner. There might only be a misunderstanding or the business ower is toxic. There are customers who don't like to be treated badly.

Yes, it is good to grab only jobs that you can handle to avoid disappointing your customers. When you disappoint your customers you are killing your business as they would return to patronize you.

Let us also understand the flaws of the customers. They are also hesitant to trust the business if they are pressured to buy the ones you like them to buy, It should be htey to decide on what to buy.

In my city this practice is very common as tailors are master in it. They took too many orders and give customers time to collect their cloth. When a person reach there shop on particular time they say that you need to come after one week and then after one week so when they not finished the work on time people suffer a lot.

I couldn't agree more. Some people are greedy. They have a lot of clients, yet they can't do the tasks properly. It is sometimes preferable to have one or two clients who can give you a reasonable salary because having too many can compromise the quality of your work.

I have a simple policy, when I get orders, I do not refuse even though I might not have time. When I cannot finish myself I hire freelancers and let them do it.

Of course that greediness in the business is not considered as doing the business professional and the way that businesses are supposed to be done in a matter of fact.

You will be understood by the clients as greedy. Your moves will be obvious to them. That's one cause of business failure The customers will feel you and they will turn their backs on you.

As a freelancer providing translation service and business consulting, of course I would like to get as many clients as possible. However, I also understand that I cannot work 24 hours a day. When my work schedule is full, and I think that I cannot meet the completion deadline requested by the client, I may turn him/her down. My top priority is to maintain the quality of my work.

This is actually a good policy, cause most time when we refuse this offers, the customer might not be very eager to come back next time. Hiring a freelancer will help you meetup with target.
