It is an important decision to ditch a job to run a business or work on your own. When I quit my full time job and started doing freelancing work, I have calculated the risks. I wouldn't receive a stable monthly salary or enjoy other benefits such as paid leave or health insurance benefits. I finally made the decision to work as a freelancer because I enjoy the flexibility and also would like to challenge my ability. I am happy to say that I made the right decision.
If you don't have a solid base, don't ditch your job to start a business. You can always experiment the business while still working.
