Everyone should have accumulated some 
Snowflakes by now. I know some people have been wondering what they are for, and what they can be spent on. This brings me to the first new feature to be released this month; and in the new year. Some of you may have already seen a tease of it on when I awarded a member with one. Introducing:
Content Awards 
These are awards that are granted to any thread or post created by a member of the community. These awards are meant to signify that others appreciate the content that was produced.
You can give awards to members by clicking the "Award" button that is next to the standard Like button in threads and posts.
This new feature is flexible, and I hope to improve and extend this new feature in the future that can tie into other parts of our community.
I hope this can also help members post quality content, as they can be awarded for it now!
As of right now, there is only 7 awards that can be given.

Gold Medal | Cost: 200 |
Silver Medal | Cost: 100 |
Bronze Medal | Cost: 50 |
Super Like | Cost: 75 For when a normal like just isn't enough! |
Golden Snowflake | Cost: $0.50 You like this post so much, your willing to pay to support them! This gives the user 100 snowflakes. |
Staff Awards:
Awards that can be given to members by the staff
Quality Content Award | Will be given out to award those who post top quality content. Moderators & Administrators can give this out. This will award the user with $0.10 RIF Cash |
Golden RIF Coin | Gives the user an entire $1 RIF Cash! Only Administrators can give this out |
