Business magazine Forbes has raised the issue of former President Trump not giving anything to any candidate in the US mid-term elections.

American billionaires have started investing money in campaigning for their favorite candidates. This may be news for Forbes, but what has it got to raise the issue of someone not investing in elections?
What do you think?

Is that kind in United States Iike in Ph vote buying? The term used there is donation but it's crystal clear it's vote buying or attention and recognition getting to get voters sympathy.

Yes, the way Trump was shown for not 'donating' , and some people badmouthinng him is an answer, campaigners want money to influence public / buy votes. But that is politics, there is everything fair.

This is classic support in US. Millioners donate and later have some advantage in business. Soon candidates will start organize donation dinners.

It is also rampant in my country during election campaigns no matter hoe the commission officers banned them to do it, but it's the people who aggressively asked for a donation -called vote-buying though they did not vote for the candidate.
