Ramadan is the month when Muslims fast for a month, and at night they increase their worship by praying and reading the Holy Qur'an. Ramadhan just finished about 10 days ago.
You are welcome. I fast for about 14 hours. During that time I did not eat or drink. Starting from the dawn call to prayer (in the morning before the sun rises) to the maghrib call to prayer (afternoon when the sun has set).
Yes, we can do it because we have been used to it since childhood. When I was 8 years old, I initially practiced fasting even though it was only 7 hours, the next day it was increased to 8 hours, then 9 hours, etc. until I was able to fast completely until the Maghrib call to prayer.
