I've got a mortgage, but I try to avoid any loans beyond that. I get all sorts of personal loan offers in the mail, but their interest rates are outrageous.
There's nothing wrong with an employee taking a smoke break, but they shouldn't be given more (or less) breaks because of it. You'll see people that have to step outside hourly to smoke, and that's not fair to non-smokers.
I would put gambling alongside playing the lottery. I wouldn't really call these things an investment, though I do know some people that have done pretty well in sports betting.
I've never heard of being able to listen to your favorite music and earn money. I have heard about people using some sort of script to manipulate the number of song plays on services like Spotify to make money.
It's an interesting idea. Maybe politicians would be less keen on jumping into wars if they actually had to participate. I would say no though. How often would we see leadership pass away? I think that would just create turmoil.
