A business with competition or one with less?

Do you think it is better to start up a business with lots of competition or would you rather go for a business with less competition. I think both have their advantages and as well as disadvantages. A business with competition means there are more traffic and more customers, while a business with less competition means its niche that is not too known.

A business which has less competition will usually have less demand , so it may be difficult to find customers. For example it is very difficult to sell backlinks and guest posts now.

I would go for a business with good amount of competition it would help me do better as I would strive to also be better so it better to be competitive and make more money

You can start a competitive business in a location that has the need but the business is not saturated, avoiding competition to do better.
