Amazon has received an invitation from Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin to invest in the state. The web services division of Amazon is going to invest $35 billion in state data centers. This is an attempt to create more jobs in the state.
Oh, that's good news. Virginia government knew what it was going to benefit from Amazon before it offered the contract. I do hope the aims and vision of such deals won't be contravene.
