Are the Foreigners Boosted the Country's Business?

After the war, the US Soldiers stayed in the Philippines for long, at least some of them. They stayed in the bases of Clarkfield, Pampanga and others in Olongapo.

We have seen growth of businesses from left to right. Even up to these days, there are more businesses in the said area in Clarkfield being overtaken by the Americans, well in a good way. Their invasion made impact to the economy of the city. More restaurants became operational. Means more job for the locals.

Night clubs are alive in this part of the city of Angeles.

More foreigners are visiting the country. Another race who are making businesses in the Philippines are the Koreans. If we have Chinatown in the heart of Manila, we also have Koreantown in Angeles. As if you are in a small town in Korea if you go to Friendship ave.

Do you think these invasions will have a huge impact to the city's growth in terms of economic stability? What are the means to keep them in the country?

Foreigners presence in a country can empower economic growth especially when the foreigners have a better economic base more than the country they entered. But invasion by all ramification is a terrible thing and can disintegrate the cohesion of a country. A country's sovereignty must be protected by all means.

Definitely there is western influence brought by the US. If a country manages their development, there would be increase in tourism. I don't think the country's economic growth can be attributed much to the US thought, at the end of the day, the Philippine government is the one governing the country. Making the country look attractive and develop would bring itself more economical oppounities.

Unfortunately in my country there are not so many foreign investors because a lot of security crises that have been happening in the country for years which makes it very difficult for investors to do anything in the country.

But there are also foreigners that bring havoc to a country, not progress. Almost every other day, foreigners were caught in our international airport NAIA bringing illegal drugs to my country. They are all caught and served for their crimes.
