I heard abut Sophia but did not bother to try it. Abut Alexa, I got it from ML from Valerie she is happy now with a new found virtual friend who can talk with her. But I cannot download this app, I do not have an Amazon account.

I don't even have Amazon because I always feel that it may be stressful to order something from them and I don't have Alexa too

LOl yes it happens and better to stay away from apps that want you to spend money

Alexa can speak to us, can do task, etc.. but needs amazon account. Is there a pay of open an amazon account?

No, you can open any day but you need to see if amazon is working in your country or not

I have heard many things concerning this Alexa. I have even witnessed some of the potential features in this app as it works in US. But I have not witnessed it performing wonders in Nigeria.

These are working all over LOL and its just a virtual assistant that can play songs for us,off/on lights, make calls etc
