I live down the same street I grew up on and most of the people that live down here remember me from when I was younger.

The neighbourhood is pretty close-knit and we all look out for each other, sometimes you may get some issues but for the most part, everyone gets on fine.

Yes I am friendly to my neighbors. God said in one of His Commandment to love our neighbors.

I was friendly with the neighbors in my old house as I lived there for 45 years and then shifted to my new house where I don't know people around me and I feel people are egoistic here and don't want to talk to the new people.

It depends on how the neigbors behave, in some places the neighbors are very hostile, so people have to be careful.
