Between opening and running a school or a hotel- Which is more profitable?

We are all familiar with these two businesses as they are money spinners. Supposing one has sufficient resource to run just one out of these two businesses, what would the common choice be?

Considering the lifestyle pattern and behavior of the people and market forces in your country or region, which is more profitable to run? What is the reason you would pick one over the other?

Both can be pretty Lucrative though but for me i would go with running a hotel, this is hotels have to do with real estate and it would definitely be a great way to earn residual income.

Honestly speaking there is no competition here about this for by far the hotel is more lucrative than running a school as people patronize the hotel more than they would patronize the school but the school is more important to the society and the growth of the community and the nation than the hotel.

These are two outstanding Lucrative businesses. I like school business but hotel business is more profitable. You charge high per night and also charge high for the food and drinks you sell there.

I think school is pretty lucrative more than hotel. I personally would run a school. A well run standard school with just 500 students would give you millions every 3 months. I stand with school on this one.

As for me, if I had to choose, I would choose to build a school, because schools are needed more than hotels. So I think schools will be more profitable than hotels.

The demand for schools is in every household making it a larger target market than the market for hotel services. You would make more money and prestige from a school than a hotel.

That's right I agree with you. That is the reality that is happening here, many children do not go to school because of the limited educational facilities available. Middle school and high school/vocational school only exist in the city center, making it difficult for students who are far from the city to get a proper education.

Hotel business is mor lucrative. I know how much sone hotels charged per night . A well booked hotel per night will make good amount of money every blessed day

I will prefer school because it requires less capital than a hotel. Also we have lack of schools in our country so this business is good. I would love to open it but it requires lots of investment and I don't have that much funds and I don't want to take a loan.

Another thing is to go for one you know you can effectively run. you can go into a money making business but without knowing how to run it, it might not make money

Of course, one has to gain knowledge about whatever he or she wants to start. If you start anything without proper knowledge it's going to fail. Like I want to start affiliate marketing and I have to gather knowledge about it first.

Hotel bussness is more profitable I think it's very hard to run school you would need to have a lot of money if you want to do that sure you can earn a lot of money but it takes a lot of time and effort

For Hong Kong, you can't get it wrong with hotel business. It would sell so much because of the massive influx of people into the city for tourism travel. Hotel wins here in the case of Hong Kong.

I don't know though about your location but a standard school in my place requires much more capital to set up than a school. It takes so much investment in facilities to run a school.

A school can start with a simple one block and with good teachers, the school can expand. A hotel cannot start with one block, it has to be at least to a minimal standard to be able to get good patronage.

A standard hotel generates far more money than a school on a normal basis. When you factor in peak tourism periods like summer when people travel, you would realize that hotel is more profitable than a school.

Running a school is more profitable, because schools are needed more than hotels. you would get money from a student every three month which is a sure thing though it is capital intensive

Hotels tend to get patronage every blessed day if it is classic and located in a strategic place. Schools earn once in three months. I think a hotel might be more profitable but that still depends on other factors.
