Birthday month collections

Me and my friends contribute a certain amount on each other's birthday month. We either give the birthday girl cash or she writes down what she would like for us to buy her. She has to write 4 things and we pick one from the list. Do you practise the same act?

This a very good idea. I think I will do the same thing because sometimes we buy gifts to someone that they do not really like or need.

Right. Its great to know what somebody wants or needs to avoid returns or someone not using what you bought them

We do that in our office too and it's a great way to celebrate birthdays and other big occasions and these sort of things keep the office environment calm

At my workplace we collect money and give it to person. We don't buy anything, maybe chocolate. Person get money and can spend it what he/she want.

I do celebrate birthday with my best friends. We usually have dinner together or go to an outlying island for some fun. We buy chocolate as birthday gift as we all love chocolates.
