It has flopped. They said crypto is illegal and should not be accepted as a means of payment.

The government is trying to compel people to use CBDC through their latest money policies. But I believe they will fall because Nigeria government lacks organizational ability to make any policy to work. Nigeria government under Buhari is a terrible flop.

Brazilian authorities are trending with caution. They don't want to be sidelined but still don't want to take the full risk. I pray it will work for them.

Regardless of whether of not it is legal, the fact remains that bitcoin will still be used in Brazil, as Brazil is a place where many cryptocurrency enthusiasts reside.
