When we talk about business growth, most people tend to associate growth with speed, hence they assume the business is growing when production is fast. Is speed the only thing needed for w business to grow?

Business growth is only associated with profit making. If a business is not making profits, it is good as death. I don't know what you mean by speed. Or in what terms, you are relating speed to business growth.
