I'm yet to buy any but I know for a fact it is good to invest in shares. You would make more profit

It depends on how much research you do to find the right company and purchase shares at the right price. Initially investors often make losses when they choose the wrong shares.

I have never myself purchased shares from a public limited company so i can't recommend it. I believe my father has done so for me when i was much younger.
