People at a certain age become independent and won't want to be controlled. Most parents however don't understand the point where they have to allow their children have freedom.

With that in mind, is it possible for a 30 year old person to live peacefully with his or her parents without chaos?

I guess I am lucky that my biological parents only support me with personal decisions about certain things. At the age of 30, he or she can take responsibility in terms of deciding for himself or herself.

I was raised in a family that was quite toxic, so I decided to move out of my parent's house as soon as I could support myself financially somehow. Currently, I live in a small flat that is better for my mental health. I do not have to deal with daily drama, which relieves me.

I think that depends on the relationship between the 30 year old person and his parents. Living together does not mean that the parents do not allow their son/daughter to have freedom.

In my country, it is not really possible for someone that old to live with his or her parents because there would always be a power struggle which can turn toxic.

It depends on the nature of your parents and you're, if you have a good bonding with them then I don't think there is any problem in living with your parents.

I have not really seen people being able to live with parents at that age. The child always suffers mental depression in most circumstances. Of course, I am talking for my country.

But it depends on the kind of parents they are and if you are the only child if not is a no for me .

Here in our country when parents become old and don't have a source of income then it's responsibility of the kids to take care of his/her parents and for that he/she has to live with the parents.
