Some people have taken such sites as a way to earn (or scam) money on a part-time and even full-time basis. High yield investment schemes are mostly a way to pay Paul by robbing Peter. Can it still be considered a business idea regardless?

Many HYIPs are scams and are not considered legitimate business operations. They often operate in an unregulated environment, meaning that there is no oversight or protection for investors

In my opinion, HYIPs cannot be considered a business. HYIPs involve high-risk investments in which the investor has a chance of losing all of their money. As such, HYIPs are more of a gamble than an actual business. It is important to understand the risks associated with HYIPs before investing any money into them.

I know of some persons who actually consider this as business to themselves, but personally i do not see this as business, the risk involved is just too much, and worse these platforms tend to crash in the end.
