Same experience of @nomad, if you wanted to relate GPT as those sites mainly based on tons of survey panels and tons of videos to watch. If you don't live in a top tier country, if you can't count on an at least discreetly paid job (better if a traditional offline job), don't own a car and don't go to cinemas, you mostly waste your time on GPTs. Unfortunately, being good at surveys basically means you are so lucky to count on a good purchasing power and a comfortable life in an industrialized or touristic city where there are plenty of services. Not the case among large areas in the third and fourth world.
I doubt if it is possible! The only way it can be possible is if you are from first tier countries. Most GPT pays higher to people from first tier countries but still it is doubtful. If you are from third tier countries, it is a total waste of time, data and energy.

You and I seem to agree on this. You will be earning a lot of money only when you are based in high tier countries. It is possible to make money when you are in low tier countries but you might not be able to earn well.
That may depend on the individual. For me, it is quite impossible to make sustainable income from GPT sites. Most of the offers are not available for my location. They offer less surveys than survey sites, and I find the tasks pretty tedious and boring.
Those that are good at surveys can earn decent money from it even if they are from India or any other bottom tier country
The main thing is the availability of surveys. India is a developing market, and the country is emerging rapidly, therefore, a lot of companies target India for spreading the market. That's the reason you might have access to surveys despite India being tier 3 country.
