Can you get sick from being in the rain?

For me, it's a common myth, simply being out in the rain does not directly cause someone to get sick. Illnesses like colds and flu are caused by viruses, not exposure to water.

I can comfortably being on the rainy and nothing happens with regards to my healthy.

I will not get sick because of the rain. But in summer, it my body gets all wet and I need to enter into an air-conditioned room, I may catch a cold.

You said it right. Most old folks believe in this matter. They sometimes asked us to take a bath right away after being soaked with rainwater.
