Can you speak your local dialect

Sometimes because of. migration we leave our native place or setting to settle else way so learning our native language might just be impossible. So can you speak your own dialect?

Yes, my mother tongue is Cantonese. I speak Cantonese fluently. I can also speak the official language of China, that is, Putonghua (Mandarin) and English.

For my family, you must learn to speak your local dialect regardless of where you settled. Your parents must intentionally help you to understand and speak your dialect.

In my country, every province has its own dialect. I can speak three dialects here.

There are almost 100 dialects in our country but sadly I do not know any of them, I do understand a couple of dialects though

I believe it is a a shameful thing that a person can't speak his local dialect. It is okay if circumstances didn't allow you to know how to. But not making any efforts to learn is plain stupid.

I am so limited to learn all the dialects in my country. I can only speak two of them under the influence of my biological parents.
