Car Modifications? - Feedback Requested

Hello everyone,
I wanted to create this thread in hopes of receiving your honest feedback.

I currently own a 2023 Hyundai Sonata SEL (actual photo below)


I love the features this car offers and I’m very satisfied with the way it drives. I don’t plan to trade or purchase a new one at least over the next 4-5 years. With that being said, I have also desired to own a sports car but due to my age and various other factors insurance costs would kill me. So I’ve been thinking of modifying my current car to give it a more sportsy look.

Here’s what I want to do:

1. Add tinted windows (to compliment the car with a darker color).

2. Add black sports stripe decals on both sides of the car. (Example below)


3. Add new wheels. (Such as the example below, once again black, and with some silver)


4. Add a black spoiler. (Example below)


5. Add a black metal “sports” sticker/decal to the back underneath “Hyundai” (example below)


6. On this one, I’m not exactly certain, but in my personal opinion I feel like this would be the cherry on top. Add a hood scoop. (Example below)



I know all of this together will cost a pretty penny, but I feel as if it would give me a unique sportsy feel and no one would have anything similar to mine. Please share your honest feedback on whether you think these modifications would look good. Why or why not?

Why add more stress to your life? It is not everything you desire you will eventually get. Some desire will fade with age and life commitments. I think the modification will make the car to be oddly out of fashion. It may look funny initially but as time goes on, you will definitely want you Sonata again.
If you desperately want a sports car, sell your Hyundai and buy it. If you don't want to spend that much better enjoy the one you have.

Very well said, I agree with you. There is no need for a modification. The car looks so elegant. Better but a new car @Devin. Your car may look odd if modify it. It lists its originality.
