There are some in-stores closed because of low profit, especially during the pandemic. At some point, they are blaming online shops because of offering prices and sometimes, free shipping if buying in bulk. Do you think that in-stores will be gone in the future?

Location is the point some people in the rural might never buy online
I think physical stores will still be around. There are people who prefer shopping at stores to get a feel of the product.
The advantages of shopping online is that you would have convenience to compare prices and go for the ones with competitive price.
In my country, shopping online is more expensive than shopping from the open market. It is like those e commerce shops integrate the cost of hosting into tye final price of the products.

In my country, most items are cheaper when ordered online. In China, most people claimed that the items' are affordable to buy. I guess it is not the same thing in other countries like yours.
I shop on AliExpress sometimes and it is true that most things are cheap to buy from Chinese online stores. Buying online in my country is an exclusive for the rich.

We have local e-commerce platforms. It is like those platforms integrate the cost of hosting to the prices of their products. That's because their prices can never be lower than offline.
