Yes it's a good business, some years back my mom was actually into this, but she was more into head ties. People would bring their worn out head ties and she would make them strong as new ones.

It is a good business and it is also profitable but the problem is that you may not get customers all the time because it is not a kind of business that will bring you customers everyday

I also know of a guy that does it well in Awka. The business is booming. Students turn up in droves to have their jeans dyed. With this hard times, if one starts the business, it would boom.

Yeah whatever you can use to sustain yourself you can make good money off it, it is to continue with it.

Lol but that's the way to go if you do not money for new clothes just go with the old ones and money is made.

@cherry123 in this our economy, every average person is just hustling to eat first. And with the high cost of food, the money almost finishes on food. No money for clothes. So, just work on your old clothes and wear them again.

Sure if one. can't afford the new ones now. The best bet will be to get the old ones amend them to wear and life continues.

Also, it should be in an urban area because I don't think the people who are living in rural areas will be able to patronize people who do these jobs.

I'm actually tried this some years ago with some of my old clothes but I didn't really like the clothes when they were brought back after being dyed.

I also did this. The dye will change the colour and it will not be fine again so I just decided to be throwing my faded clothes away

There are a few companies in Hong Kong doing cloth dyeing business. But I am not sure if they are making good money. I personally won't dye my clothes when they are worn out.

This might actually be a good idea, however being a clothes dyer is a trade, that anyone who wants to start this type of business must be able to carry out.

I don't think people make a decent amount from this job anymore in my country. People do not really dye clothes anymore like before.
