There are furniture and jewelry that increase their worth after some years. They do not rot. Being an antique thing means valuable and their value may be too high to reach. Though the price may fluctuate, but the antique things remain valuable and never depreciate at a low level. The rise and fall of antique stuff is not a problem for it seldom happens. Sometimes I can't consider it as investing because I don't intend to sell them at all. It's hard to part away with something that has become attached to us. We have some antique collection and it's just for collection and not for reselling

@relcap23 and @RicAngelo, buying and selling of antiques require no emotional attachment. It is an investment you have to realize. We can buy antiques for our eyes only but those we buy are intended for maney-making targets, to yield some profit.

That is also worth it to keep the things that have sentimental value. It is also painful to dispose of them as if is already having a string attached. But if the purpose is an investment, there is no ill feeling selling them.

There are people who love to buy antiques like art. Maybe you have read the news a billionaire shot himself and he became billionaire through investing antique arts. What a waste of life.
Many people shows interest to antiques because they are so promising and also it lets people more motivated in their work because it has relation to our past and how things are operating in this world.
I agree with you. My knowledge of antiques is limited, so I have no idea if it is a good investment or not. In any case, it is an interesting business for those who love collecting antiques.
This is because state is purchasing this from the citizen to put in mosuments for tourist for seeing this antique and get revenue so it is more wise as a commerce between state and citizen collecting antiques.

Yes it is always profitable to buy and sell antique items. But you need to invest a lot for buying them at once because they are expensive, no doubt they are worth the investment but when you have money to invest in them.
