If you are not developing a website on your own, you have two options, one, build a website by using content management systems, and two use website builders to create a website. There are two types of content management systems, one, open source, and two, premium. Website builders have high subscription charges. My preferred way to build website is by using open source content management systems.

Due to the subscription charges being as high as they are for a website builder, it is better for those who do not have a lot to put into it, to use content management systems to build their website.
It's great that we do have open-source content management systems as it means more people are able to set up a website and work on it without the worry of hefty fees each month or year.

Website builders are good only for those who have money but do not have time to manage hosting accounts and also do not have website designing skills. Website builders give you ready-made products so it is easy for those people with no skill.
