It is absolutely possible to make a lot of money through a corporate job, if you do not believe me just check how much salary do the CEOs and managers on various companies earn. However, to make substantial wealth through a corporate job you will have to climb the corporate ladder and might take many years., Business sounds someone easier as you control every thing. However, becoming successful with business is not an easy thing,

To become a CEO, you would spend so many years to get to that level. If you build a business with those years, you should be employing a CEO.

If I were going to answer this question, I prefer to have my own business and not be controlled by big bosses in companies.
