Ever been summoned to court? Or have you attended a court case? I have only seen the inside of a Court House on tv.

Only once, I attended the local court here and paid a fine of Rs.5/- in 1971 for going doubles on a bicycle.

How did it make you feel being at the court house? Is it the same as what you see on tv?

Yes, and nothing great. We have to go and stand in witness box, the judge will ask 'did you went doubles', and we have to simply say 'yes'. Then he levies the fine.

I am such an introvert, get so much attention would make me really nervous and I am sure I would get a panick attack

Yes. The scene is same as what we generally see in cinemas and TV shows.

I've never actually been summoned for a court appearance but I have attended one for a friend of mine who had a family case to answer for.

It will be tough for me to attend too as I have never attended and I feel anxiety when I need to do something what I have never done in my life earlier

Unfortunately, during the pandemic we had some restrictions in my country. One day I was driving my car when a policeman stopped me.He asked me to show him the papers required.I did. However, he did not accept them with no reason and he imposed a fine on me. There was nothing wrong with my papers
so I am going to court to complain. He did not even read my papers. I know this is crazy but it is true.
