I do think that people in sales should be trained with this matter. There are times that they do have the skills in selling but not knowing the needs of their clients.

Most sales does not train on customer service. They were trained to close a sale. So each time they have customer to deal with, their mindset is to close that sale. Motivation in doing so is the commission they can get from the sale.

Yes, proper training on how to deal with customers is essential. The training should be provided to customer service staff, sales staff and all front line staff such as receptionist and hotline staff.

Yes, I believe that personnel should have sufficient training while interacting with consumers. Proper training may also assist staff comprehend the company's values, objective, and goals, as well as provide them with the skills and information needed to engage with clients efficiently.

The ability to communication is a very important skill for customer service personell. And also the ability to calm nerves. Some complains come in with fury and the Customer care has to make it calm.
