When it comes to creating any website, I have always tried to offer both a light mode and a dark mode. Being that I prefer to use a dark mode on any sites I use and knowing many others also like to have a dark mode, I feel it is essential to help the site be optimized for all.

With some people also preferring light mode to dark mode as well, offering both will ensure that anyone who visits your site can set it so that they are comfortable with it. Running the risk of losing visitors to your site because they are not able to find a dark mode or even a light mode is something I would hate.

I use dark mode as you can google that it causes less strain on eyes and it is somewhat user friendly at least I feel comfortable to write in dark mode.

Well, dark mode is less irritating to your eyes and is better for your eye health. Some people cannot tolerate too much light, so dark mode feels better for them. There are even plugins that make dark mode sites that do not have dark mode

I use dark mode for every platform that I work on because I am used to it

If I have chance I turn it but it is not necessary for me. I can use any website and with white design. I like use dark mode at night with red light.

You can watch on your eyes using simple techniqu like turning view from screen to something without led light every 45 minutes. Take few steps trough room, watch trough windows and you eyes will get some rest.
