It might be not interesting to you but mind you, I was saved with by my savings at home in a piggy bank. Every day, I throw 100 pesos ( $2) at my piggy bank. I just ignored my savings, I just want to save at home for emergency purposes and it did help me during the pandemic when banking was impossible. The series of lockdowns banned people from going out and we could buy goods through a request. We ran out of cash but I remembered my lovely piggy bank. We were saved by it and counted how much, and I was so stunned when my savings reached 100,000 pesos ( $2000). I got only P20,000. I did not want to empty my piggy bank. In conclusion: we can never underestimate the power of a piggy bank.

I have an e piggy Bank that I drop funds into. It must not be that traditional piggy bank but any platform that you just drop random cash to save can be seen as your piggy bank.
Yes, never underestimate the importance of a piggy bank; it can be a lifesaver in an emergency. In my case, I opt for a mason jar instead of a traditional piggy bank. In addition to that, I also make use of envelopes for my savings. It is a bit unconventional, but it works for me. Hehe

That is a powerful testimony you have shared here. Indeed a piggy bank can be underestimated but it can save you so much money. Especially if you are someone who handles cash daily, putting some coins and few notes there will save you a lot at some point.
