I think it is not common to go and eat to our neighbors' houses. However, they can share their foods by dropping them in our houses. Unless if there are some special occasions, then we can eat and visit their places. In a condition that we are invited.
Sometimes, especially when someone sends food for a special occasion, I might enjoy a meal from my neighbor's place. It's a gesture of goodwill and community that fosters positive relationships and connections with those around me.
I do not have many interactions with my neighbors. When we meet at the lobby, we may say Hello, or good morning, and chat a bit about the weather. That's it.
I do not do that. Even though I live close to my neighbors, it is not something we typically do here. Instead, they could share by putting it in a container and dropping it off at our house.
