Do you give personal information to your colleagues?

When I am still working with my previous companies, I never tell my colleagues about my family and the like. In the first place, I was just there to work and not to make friends. Besides, I am refraining from gossip.

You are right. We are not obliged to broadcast our personal information to our colleagues, unless we are close to them in different levels.

When I’m with my friends or colleagues, I talk a lot but I am always mindful of the things I say. I don’t ever tell my colleagues what is happening to me personally
