In India it's common to hire a house help who will clean the house and some even hire these to cook and do laundry too.

It is common here, but we soo away our house help he ate all our food even in ref haha. We only have a laundry lady.

A lot of families here hire house helpers from the Philippines. I just have a local part-time helper who comes twice a week to help me clean the kitchen and the toilet.
